I SHOULD HAVE ADDED THE LITTLE BLUE AND RED SOCKS IN HERE DAMN IT DAMNADLFKASD
But I literally JUST thought of that. Both episodes of the StevenBomb have been great (even though the first one was super shocking) BUT THIS PRECIOUS SECOND EPISODE, UGH. YAAS.
I spent a good while hashing out the lineart on a detailed commission, and even though I took a break (and the rest of the night) to draw this- I already made up a mini-game plan for today after I wake up. Just going to throw everything I have at the two detailed background couple commissions, drive myself to get those done, and as a wind-down see how many colored sketches I can get done in the wake.

Anyway here have some adorable pouty space rock wives. And their literal love-child (T-that massively towers over them.)

god so beautiful
im actually really glad through all the emotional devastation that went on in that episode (and in me)
it really highlighted what garnet said, how it shows not every couple is perfect and garnet is still susceptible to emotions like the rest of them!! much love x-3

YES! I heard a lot of complaining about the Pearl thing the episode before, and of all this drama-stuff, but I think a show NEEDS that kind of development to give the characters depth and to make them believable/realistic.
It's not happy, no- but life isn't always happy. I think it's great that kids can watch that and see how even though you're different, you can put aside your personal problems to get along and find a middleground. I also like that they sort of showed that you can't just apologize and the apology make-up for your mistake. Sometimes forgiveness is hard, and takes time. It would be kind of wrong to teach children that they can lie and manipulate people but everything will be peachy and great if they just tell the truth and apologize. It shows how your actions and choices can affect others, and that sometimes you can REALLY hurt them even if you didn't mean to.
Thank you so much for your comment by the way! ;w;

Ain't no thang! Ruby does look extremely androgynous- and with her rough, brash, hotheadded attitude she doesn't seem like the typical 'lady'. I don't think they used any pronouns for her anywhere else except the new episode, and that just aired last night (and it was so emotional I don't blame you for not catching a 'she' or a 'her' xD)
I have it posted on my twitter, but you can do that! (I privated/protected my page because of a stalker so it might not be easy for you to retweet it anyway) My account there is l2edPandarama, and my DA is Marxis- if you wouldn't mind posting a link to those as well as my FA.
I did that after FWA this year! I had only seen parts of one or two episodes, and watched the 'Story For Steven' episode at the con with my art group. AND FELL IN LOVE WITH ROSE QUARTZ. So after coming home I binge-watched like, all 50-something episodes and have been impatiently waiting for each new one that comes out u w u
