Urang - Reference sheet
Also he has vaguely glowy insides.
I can't describe Urang very well and music has always been a medium that expresses feelings to best for me so have this theme by Infected Mushroom & Friends which is literally Urang:
https://youtu.be/juh8xhpjqRI
As well as supplement themes from A.B.A. and Bedman (both from Guilty Gear):
https://youtu.be/o70tJ9JbjCg & https://youtu.be/JDl1xeF8gpo
Castle Black theme from Super Paper Mario:
https://youtu.be/dmPOeCgh8z4
Music from Portishead's first album sound to me like Urang's day to day:
https://youtu.be/XvBKcRu9eC8
And a soundscape by Lustmord which explains the feeling of being outside of his room:

This is Urang, he is a lot different than Storms. Expect some art of him to appear, most of it is going in a different, darker direction (but hopefully not edgy). I’ll make some sort of thumbnail for art involving him as I’m sure not everyone here can handle darker themes too easily and I don’t want to drive people away; in fact, he represents feelings and ideas that I repressed for a long time as I thought that they would drive others away. He is my attempt to get that side of me to be expressed as well as possibly be accepted.
There’s some bad timing with Urang’s release, what with the recent Otto animation I did. I’ll explain as best as I can about the circumstances surrounding Urang’s conceptualization so hopefully there’ll be no misunderstandings... A small while ago now I was playing Killing Floor 2 with some friends; one of whom was funny with banter but extremely self-centred and almost sociopathic in nature. Long story short, he got extremely angry at me for almost no reason and it upset me greatly. After I left, I was in a call with Sir Tangle (
BillyBob11432 ) while also in SL, just free-caming around until it came across as house with a slideshow. There was blood and gore but it was also cute and endearing in a strange way. In my emotional state, I suppose I latched onto it as an outlet for my feelings, which is rare for me as I repress a lot of feelings. The house belongs to Mr. Tippy, (
tippy ).
I’ve always loved point noses and faces, so Urang’s face shape is more of a mix of Spy vs Spy, Mr. Tippy’s Dr Sklee, RubySnoot’s stylishly cutie noses and also Jaydom’s Otto. In fact, this is what lead to the Otto animation; I’d remembered Otto and thought his body shape was great for a frame of reference. I went to look and found he was about to be sold, then he was so I contacted his new owner,
movler and mentioned how cool I always thought Otto was and offered an animation of him as I’ve always wanted to, so that is how the animation started. I suppose I was a little worried people would take it the wrong way that Otto had been sold and suddenly Urang shows up, but as I just wrote; the selling thing was purely coincidental.
The explanation feels rather pointless but I just don’t want any suspicions about Urang and the timing so I’m being as transparent as I can; Urang is partly inspired from other characters facially and body type wise but his character is a deep set reflection of things that Storms simply cannot be used to express.
