Ash is a rather keep to himself kind of guy and stays away from people he doesn't know due to trust issues, but once friends with him he is the most trustworthy and loyal companion anyone could ever ask for. His Pride know just that.

To those he LOVES he is very protective and loving but to those he doesn't he can be very touchy and can easily become aggressive and can engage in a fight.

He dislikes loud noises or people he doesn't know getting too close or touching him. He likes to keep to himself if not with the pride and only they know his true colours.

He is very much an alpha kind of dog. He does not like to over ruled or to be lowered to anyone, although he sometimes doesn't take the leadership role and can stand beside someone in the ranks.

On the other hand, once he trusts and LOVES people he can be very playful, cuddly and humorous. He enjoys making people happy and keeping them safe although he does have a very perverted side and he doesn't even try to hide it.
