Some doodles of my custom species known as the aliluk.

There's a reason why Vix's paws and i guess innards are purple, because he's an aliluk.

I've kinda held back on the concept because I felt like aliluk characters would end up like a mary sue type of character because of the fact that they're kind of powerful canon-wise, something I really don't want to happen to my fursona or any of my characters. I'm still coming up with limitations to keep a steady balance, but since it's been so long since I've actually shown off a lot about them but I can give a few characteristics about them:

-They can imitate light. They can take a sort of 'light-form' and walk through windows, bounce off mirrors (and get reversed in the process), and in very short distances move at light speed for a short time. They can even create illusions sometimes.
-They are very capable shapeshifters and can take on many forms.
-Their quills are their best weapon. They can induce transformation on a living being if he/she is pricked by these quills. Sometimes, they can even take control of the victim. However a stray quill has unpredictable effects.
-They have odd ties with velokins, another shapeshifting species.
-Finally, they can't live by themselves. A lone aliluk will only live for an hour and disintegrate unless they link to velokin (making this velokin the aliluk's "shadow"). It's not exactly a physical attachment but a sort of semi-permanent dependence being that if the shadow dies, the aliluk will as well unless he/she finds another shadow within a certain amount of time.

Those are the basics (there's still the whole extra dimension/multiverse thing as well that's a little beyond complicated). Most of this was for the Pine Valley/Silhouettes project but since I'm not sure if I'll ever finish it, I thought I might as well show this little piece of it.
