Made dinner fer m'roomie an friends earlier t'night an since m'Cuddleburr got me a cam ta use fer food pornz an such m'finally able ta share with ya more pics...
So here then is m'first attempt at fixin' escargot!... Had never even tasted it much less made any fer anybody else... thankfully the container it came in had both the standard recipe an instructions on how ta prepare this delicacy so I used that... the only slight variation I made ta makin' the butter sauce was I added half a small can of mushrooms and half a can of water chestnuts to the butter sauce recipe that was on the can.
The appetizer consists of:
a small bed of white rice (I made 1 cup
1 container of escargot (this came with 12)
1 small can of oysters
1 small can of clams
1 small can of octopus
1 small container of crabmeat
all of the 4 other seafoods (oysters, octopus, clams & crabmeat, shown in pic from left ta right) were placed on the saucer in spear shaped clumps off ta the side. the 'main feature' are the 3 escargot on the bed of white rice.
all the seafood meats were emptied from their cans an placed in lil' sauce dippin' bowls then drizzled with the excess escargot butter sauce so that guests could serve whatever they preferred so this is jus' me presentin' what all was available.
So if ya ever wanna have a seafood themed appetizer fer parties then heres a quick an easy thing ya might wanna consider... whole cookin'/prep time probably didn't even take but 30 mins tops... so enjoy :)

well like I said in the sub, I'd never tried'em b'fore... that was m'actual first time preparin' an eattin'em an yeah I was delightfully suprised at the pleasant texture an flavor of them... once ya suspend the reality of them bein' snails ya'd think it was the tenderest (although blandest) piece of avain meat.. I dare compare it ta quail or pheasant :)
