As anyone who has done more than glance at this wuff's Gallery here on FA knows, Vrghr loves playing about with spices and ingredients and doing what wuff calls his "Kitchen Experiments". Some are inspired by various recipes around the net, and others from dishes wuff has enjoyed during his travels. Still more simply spring from wuff's somewhat twisted imagination, such as "Piggy Pops" or "Peanut Butter Chicken".
When wuffy discovered the
FACCC group here on FA, Vrghr found an outlet for his recipes, and a way to share those "experiments" with other furs, in hopes they too would be able to prepare and enjoy some of these creations. This wuff firmly believes that the gift of a meal, made with love and shared with joy, is one of the best gifts one can give. Every sense is involved in the partaking; smell, taste, texture, sound... It nourishes both body and soul.
Vrghr hopes his recipes and creations may in some small way return the joy and happiness that so many furs, furry artists and writers, furry friends, have given this wuff over Vrghr's time in the fandom.
But FACCC, Vrghr, and other furry cooks, bakers, chefs and creative souls occasionally get questioned (sometime vociferously) about why they are posting "food stuff" on a furry art site like FA. Vrghr had this image commissioned as a response to all of those posing such questions.
Wuff dedicates this to the FACCC - they may post it or use it as they see fit. And likewise to all the furs who contribute their artistic talents to FA through their own "kitchen experiments". May your culinary artistry continue to gift those of us in the Furry Fandom, and here on FA.

Thank you for the link! Very entertaining and an excellent horror story. And so fitting for this post *grins*. Something to think about too! *grins* Obsession is rarely if ever a good thing.
For this wuffy, the pinnacle of food taste is not really the ultimate objective. Yes, the food should taste good! But the meal is more than just a serving of edibles. It is a gathering, a gift, and in some small way (even for those meals not a party occasion), a celebration between the cook and those served. It is the cook, the food AND the people fed, which make it important. *smiles*
Sometimes, hot dogs or marshmallows, roasted on a bark-stripped branch over a campfire, served with friends and family, can be every bit as much a culinary celebration as a five-star, elegantly plated, multi-course meal on linen table clothes and fine china.

Absolutely! Sauces, especially BBQ and similar, really lend themselves well to "culinary mad scientist" type experiments. "Lets add some Soft Drink" to it, see what that does!" or "What if we grind up Raisins?" *grins* "Prunes! Bet we could make a Prune BBQ Sauce! Mwaaa haaa haaaa!" *giggles* Cooking should be FUN!

*grins* Funny that you should mention the bowls! Wuffy was actually exploring the idea of getting "doggy bowls" to serve come of his creations in!
They make some very nice bowls and dishes for pet food; things that are sturdy, constructed of stoneware or heavy stainless steel, "legitimate" enough to put on a table (if your guests have enough sense of humor) and utterly safe for folks to eat out of. It tweaks this wuff's sense of whimsy!
