Here he is, Oceania's own public enemy # 4, Clifford "Cliff" Secord, AKA JetFire. He, along side the anarchistic second Shadow, the rebellious inventor Johnathan Galt and the mysterious terrorist Tailor Turpin, have dedicated their lives to oppose The Big Brother and topple his regime.
As a young man, Clifford started out his 'carrier', on the day when he found a certain secret about one of his clients. Back then, he was nothing more then a lowly mechanic, trying to make ends-meat in the back drop of the SASOC party and it's tightening rip on the Prols. He was good with the wrench, so to speak, but not that good at anything else. That all chained when an elderly Tomanian emigrant/loner came to have his car repaired. Not a big problem. Cliff had it fixed up by the next day.He brought the car over to the old hermit's house. Trying to find the old guy, Clif found something else instead. A secret room filled with memorabilia of the Second War, The Nazi Party and the old man's former war gear. The Jet-pack and Helmet of a BlitzWing trooper.
The rest, as they say, is history.
He managed to acquire the equipment from the guilt-strained old man, promising that he'll use it to rectifies both what the party has done and what the old guy did during the war. He scraped of the double crosses, pained the helmet yellow, gt a hold of a flame/heat resistant suit from one of the workers who "Work Down in Gear Town" as the slogan goes and set of to be the biggest, most annoying, most painful thorn in The Big Brother's side ever.
He had no one, so there was nothing to loos after all.

Dystonia is an idea of mine of a continent where science fiction, horror, dystopian fiction and other such things are all part of one timeline.
