Entry for "Le Poil", a French Furry magazine which was sold at Eurofurence 21.
The pic itself is "old", worked on it in Ferbruary.
Theme of this year's "Le Poil" was Japan. So i kinda expected everyone to do Samurai, Geisha, Medieval stuff... or modern cliché one.
So i went for a part of Japan that is not what comes to mind first for most peoples when you say "Japan" (Usually you think Samurai, Manga, or Tentacles. Don't deny it, you pervs!)
So, Pacific war it was.
Based on a story told from a US pilot which was impressed by a Japanese pilots skills, even if they were trying to kill each others at that point. The US pilot ran out of ammo, and the Japanese pilot flew away. Can't remember what documentary it was.
Though, unlike in my pic, they never met, because he never knew who he was (And if he was still alive)
"There is still honour in the sky."
