The Aztecs terrorized Mexico long ago
every 58 years they would rip out someones heart alive to keep the sun alive,
for the fire god they would burn a newly wed couple, pull them out alive and dig out, you guessed it, their hearts
and for the earth god(ess?) they would force a woman to dance all day then skin her, the priest would wear her skin and continue dancing.
