I had said in the past (kinda jokingly, but still) that she is a Box Shark. So I figure I should make it official.

Besides, people had asked what species she is specifically. So now she is a made up species!

I really love the new design. I feel like you should do a crop of her front view from the old ref and from this one to do one of those "redraw it" type things xD

I'm also always jealous of how creative you are with the text. I can't come up with info like that when asked, it takes me so much time >_<'

The majority of it is copy-pasted over from her old reference. Just updated so it sounds better with less words, and omitting useless things. The only real "new" info is the descriptions of the character around the body itself, because they all point out new features and designs compared to the old one.

It took me for-fucking-ever. I know your pain.

As for doing the "redraw it" meme, I probably wont do that. Why subject people to old art like that?! I have the 3 year videos and occasional redraws that people can look at if they are interested in seeing my progression X3

Very goo work; there is just one problem: the anthro fishes don't need visible ears.

Well yeah. They also don't need lungs then if they don't need to function on land.

If she only existed in the water than visible ears wouldn't make a whole lot of sense anatomy-wise. But with how sound propagates in the air it would be very difficult to hear anything without some type of visible out-of-head cone to help capture sound.

Plus she looks way cuter with them :3

She is a clever character with lots of personality :)
