A birthday present for
Foxjump! So glad you liked it, so have an actual scan of the piece!
Painted yesterday in class, scanned five minutes later, forgot to get it onto my drive, had to rescan just now... you know how it is.
Technicals:I'm rather proud of this traveling palette! I may continue to make adjustments!
Materials - a single rigger brush, Ink, a spice jar of water, a scrap of paper to mix colors on, Chinese body color zinc white, Cotman Raw Sienna, and Winsor & Newton Indigo, Indian Red and Cobalt Turqoise Light. I'm trying to find a good gamut limited palette for traveling with...
Paper: A free sample of Fabriano studio 140 Grana Fina, 5.75x8.25 in
And killer of killers - after scanning this in the animation room, another animator asked what I had, and recognized him on sight, sputtering "Is... isn't that..." And now I know another furry in our program. No names given, but jesus christ, animators and furries. Why does this go together.
We also joke that animators all either smell amazing or smell awful, there's no in-between... no nothing.

I absolutely love how this one turned out, and no I'm not being biased xD I actually love everything about it; the composition, and honestly just the paint work too!! It's super super nice <3
LOL oh animators and furries, yeah..making the mistake of working on furry art in the studio too, I've run into another furry that's in the same year as me too xD Although she's not as active in the fandom as I am. Still funny to come across!
Very true about the no inbetween in the smell too. I definitely make sure I always smell good xD I always carry a mini deodorant and some kind of perfume/body spray in my bag 24/7.

You... you are so kind. Thanks!
It kills me that this is the most art-salable piece I've completed this month, I have art show slots at MFF coming up way too fast, and yet I don't dare ask him for permission to sell this, nor would I feel comfortable doing so... Who knows? It's so much easier for me to do something FOR a person than to design something for a semi-general audience, that's fucking me up.
God, where do I begin with these stories? I've told you about learning one of my cage guys was a MoT fan, but did I tell you about that conversation I had with another furry animator in which an actual Titmouse employee popped up to disprove their claim that Titmouse had to ban FurAffinity from the servers due to lost worktime? Its... how did this get started?
I'm super self conscious about that! I have on two deodorants and foot powder socks right now, it's just a worse worry because my dorm (and roommate) smell absolutely terrible and I can't get him to clear it up. I'm untidy, but this is just gross. The worst thing about fearing you smell bad - like, not just body spray, but worrying about everything from your clothes to your hair to your room - is there's not really any easy way of killing the evil forever short of being clinically clean.
And I'm currently facing the next of many, many trans girl presentation problems... I don't want facial hair, any of it, at any time, but I also don't want my face to get as rough and rugged as any face gets when you scrape it with a knife on the regular. (And it grows fast.) My face is, as usual at this age from it, toughening up, getting leathery. No cheap compromise here. You have any tips besides the usual ones, with lotion or antiperspirant? I need home remedies, since lotion has always been sensory hell...

Can't hurt to ask? (: But if you don't feel comfortable, then no problem! In the end, it is your art, so you should be able to do with it as you wish u_u
I totally get you though, I have the same problem when trying to make prints...that's why I just kinda..do what I LIKE to draw, and if it's print worthy in the end, then I'll make a few copies (or if my audience generally likes it enough, haha)
LOL really?? That's hilarious, I don't believe you have mentioned anything about that to me x'D
Ahhh, I hear ya! Tea tree oil is good for the skin! Not sure if the US has a story called 'The Body Shop' but that's where I go for facial cleansers and what not. Leaves the skin smelling good and feeling really soft <3
