He was born in the area pictured, which was destroyed by a macro in the early 1980's, a sort of no-mans land of wrecked cities being reclaimed by nature. Across the mountains to the East is the country of Northland, where Kayko lives, one of a few large areas still isolated from the macro attacks. His main profession is sneaking contraband between the safe zone of Northland and people isolated, hunted and exploited in villages and towns deep within the macro territory.

His opinion of the macros is generally negative. He's had many close calls which required nimble escapes and, while he's heard of the heroic giants, he's never met one, at least not yet. I plan on him and Kayko meeting later on.

Caz has a deep love for his horse Hanna, especially considering she helped save his life after the two were captured by a macro bent on having both of them as a meal.
