It was a normal night at the R&D lab, all the experiments was behaving, no declines or deaths to report. Sonya was ready to head home from the night when she accidently knocked over the strange egg she found earlier that day.
Instead of yolk and white of normal eggs, the contents was green slimy and glowing with bits of yellow...
She quickly went to get a new pair of gloves and a mop and brush to clean up the spill, but she didn't get to do so as the gelatinous liquid grabbed hold of her high heeled shoe and from there the metamorphous started.
As if in no time in all it had spread and covered her being head to toe, any open wounds festered with yellow puss and she turned a gooey green slimy thing.
Oddly this creature changed what bits of clothes that survived into metal spikes and thus Spike Bubble was born.

It is an escaped level 90 class dangerous creature of unknown abilities.
Whether the human Sonya is still in there mentally is unknown but we do know she's not there physically the few bullets that passed harmless through her when the guards came attested to that.
We found that if cornered (please don't unless you have a means to trap it)
It'll spit out a radioactive acid that rivals the green acid of a Xenomorph* and it's been known to melt anything it touches.
