So since before I left to Job Corps, I had been talking with  Anthony about redoing my male character. Honestly the gray Chris I have in the back of my gallery hasn't retained his appeal to me, and I felt like there should be something more along the lines of a thinner, less-godly character, since Torres has been around for so long.

The technical term I came up for his species was 'fluffcrystal dragon' because he's essentially a fluffy dragon with fur that's translucent (normally blue) and refracts light and magic. His eyes have no pupils, and have the same color as his claws and horns, which is a pearlescent white. He has very little in the way of natural ability, and as such, requires enhancement from gem/metal/stone baubles placed within a socket on his tail. The socket is suspended in a field and not in physical contact with his tail unless it's large enough. Different gems or metals in different cut shapes or designs have different effects on his body. Typically though, if the gem is of suitable power, it'll give him abilities he didn't normally have. No matter what power he gains however, it's all removed once the gem is removed from the tail's field of energy.

Here we see a diamond of simple cut. White diamonds are blanks, and can absorb energy into Chrys from whatever comes in contact with it while socketed. However, this is not always a voluntary action from Chrys, meaning were he to bump someone with the diamond while socketed, he would be forced to absorb the power held within them to at least a small degree. Ironically enough, diamonds are Chrys' favorite gem, so more often than not he wears a socketed diamond just out of personal preference.

His paws were an unusual thing to ask for, but essentially, He has pawpads on the balls on his feet, his heels, and toes, but on the sole between the ball and heel, there's more padflesh, making them run as one continuous pad with plumper pad portions where the weight would be supported.

His wings are adorable, and very little else. They're far too small to accommodate his weight as they are, but they can easily be grown and strengthened by a gem's power or by anyone generous to grow them.

I'm rather happy to have a male character, and one who isn't a dominant goddess like Torres. I've already received from positive reception from people I've showed him to, so I hope to use him more often in some things, some similar to Torres, but more things all on Chrys' own.
