Reporter. Ex-Huntress. "Fox" Chaser: True Facts About Yvonne
Of the Man-Eaters Anonymous members, one of their more locally infamous members is Yvonne Hooper. An investigative reporter for the Felton Underground's newspaper, The Felton Sundown, Mrs. Hooper has the reputation for being a tenacious, bottomless well-spring of curiosity. Everyone knows once she's on the trail of a story or lead she goes after it until she's satisfied she's learned everything she possibly can. Some who know her speculate that intense inquisitiveness is part of her nature as a Sphinx - one of Egyptian stock, though the tribe she was born to had ended up in Syria - and others further posit that the same lends itself to her persistence and ardor in running down leads.
Her reason for being in M.E.A. certainly stems from her heritage; her tribe habitually stalked and slaughtered humans when the opportunity arose, and Yvonne was no different… Up until she met an American anthropologist, Isaiah Hooper, a professor from Felton's own university traveling on a scholarly expedition. She became utterly taken with the intelligent, charming foreigner (it didn't hurt that he was an attractive older man, and Yvonne has always had an interest in mature males) - and he was captivated by her in turn. When he was due to return to New England, Yvonne went with him, leaving behind her name, her tribe - and her bloody ways.
Well, mostly. The urge is still there, though she channels and urge to hunt and stalk it into her investigative drive, and the support group is there for her when she needs the extra assistance… Aside from working around her more predatory nature, though she's happy. She has a good job that regularly challenges her and brings her into contact with interesting people and good friends - to say nothing of her husband. Isaiah is a loving, wonderful spouse, her own Silver Fox that she could intellectually butt heads with all day - before they see to other needs at night… Yes, life is very good for Ms. Hooper.

KawaiiJumi several months ago. Originally it was commissioned as a head shot for Mar, but it didn't really have a strong resemblance to Mar. At the time I briefly used it for an example of Tcho-Tchos being prone to physical mutations with their diets, but after a few weeks and when I started the new M.E.A. account I decided to, instead, use it as a ref for another character I had in mind that would be more fitting, Yvonne the Sphinx. I removed it for several months, but now it's back, and I hope you all like Ms. Hooper. I'll see if I can't get a ref to show her in all her Sphinx-y glory in the future.
