these are still a work in progress perhaps? But yeah!
I had this idea a while back but I forgot it ;; but after discovering some of my
stashed away book marks I sorta got reminded about it and then boom i sorta
started doodling, this is just a messy sketch because I wanted a break from all my customs ;;


But yeah! What do you guys think? I really need help with names but
i want it to be something that easy to remember and just-- simple to spell //cries
Booklings? Marklings? I would appreciate the help ;;/

but here are some basic information about them??

HISTORY

in ancient times, these creatures reside within books assigned to them and they hold a vast amount of knowledge unknown to mankind!
Although there were a large variety of these creatures, a specific group out stands them all.
The eldest booklings (name can be given/changed later) are more familiar with magic and spells, they were often used
as guides and mentors to magicians and other various magic users.

As time progresses, a few people fear that these creatures would one day get
the best of them and so they were torn and burned out of existence.. a small amount of these ancient magical creatures as well
as the other non-magical ones were hidden throughout the decades until they were long forgotten.

But if you are lucky enough to stumble an old book shop,
and spot a funky looking bookmark-- you might just find yourself a bookling, that is of course if you
were able to read the hidden enchantment imprinted onto it...

TYPES OF BOOKLINGS

ANCIENT ONES

they are considered the eldest booklings of the species what with
their vast amount of knowledge in regards into all kinds of magic!
They appear more larger than any regular sized bookling and can smell a bit funky :Y

COMMON ONES

they are awfully knowledgeable at specific fields of reading.
Their uses varies depending to the user...
