This pic was over a year old and so I thought I'd redo it to see how much I have improved since then. I thought I'd give it a bit of a simple shading.

that's fine. It was something about my art I hadn't even noticed for years until someone pointed it out to me.
I then went back and looked at my work and sure enough, my character's arms and legs were longer than what is considered normal proportions. I have tried drawing them "correctly" but they always feel too short to me. Just a quirk of my style I guess.
