my very first wet specimens! these are carolina anoles (anolis carolinensis); the larger one is a male, the smaller is a female.

if anyone’s interested in buying these guys, lemme know. they will be shipped (within the US) USPS first class, and i can either keep them in their separate vials, or put them both together. they’re both preserved in 70% isopropyl alcohol right now. i think i'll ask $15 for one, or $25 for both.

these anoles were not killed for preservation, they tend to infest this house when it gets cold outside and unfortunately i don’t find all of them fast enough to put them back outside before they die inside.
