Helalis is a hermaphrodite, and doesn't have any real set preference as to what gender they're referred to as. He or she, it doesn't make any difference to him. He's slow to anger, which is fairly uncommon for tyrannosaurs like himself, but when he's in a foul mood he'll let you know that's a good time to leave him be. Try his patience at such a time and you may soon find yourself in his belly!

With magical assistance he's capable of speech, and his intellect is that of an average adult human.
