Felt like dumping my work process just for fun. Request for 
arcnova. Final version is here http://www.furaffinity.net/view/18563782/
- Start with a picture of myself. Easiest way to get the exact pose you want.
- Quick and dirty paper sketch, cause I suck at sketching digitally. Idea is to get the pose and broad shapes down. Fine details will be done digitally.
- Inking, adding said small details digitally.
- Flat colored. My shading is quite primitive and I sometimes feel the flats look better.

Your character's build and proportions are surprisingly close to me IRL self. It was a good fit :) Just had to stretch my torso vertically a bit, I'm short-chested :p But I mean, just compare the sides of the chest to your NSFW ref sheet http://www.furaffinity.net/view/11665054/, you could almost superimpose them.
They're not visible here, but I also dig the plantigrade feet. Not enough of those around. I'm still torn between plantigrade or digitigrade for my own guy. Digitigrade can look badass for certain poses but most of the time it's just weird and awkward and nonsensical.

I actually like both plantigrade and digitigrade feet, and had a hard time initially deciding between the two. But I think for Arc plantigrade just works better for his anthro form. I'll keep the digitigrade feet for his feral form. :)

Didn't think I'd get so much attention for my IRL body on a website that's mostly about idealized fantasy characters Might explain how this quickly-put-together layout has 3x the views of the actual finished image...
