New Year = New 'Sona Reference Sheet by Warmbodies

Well, as the update there says, the artist was chosen, and
WarmBodies (the nsfw account of 
Gibbons ) Had the style I was looking for to get a nice ref pic for my new 'sona design.
Turned out spectacularly, and the artist was also a real pleasure to work with. Probably one of the most adaptive and receptive artists I've worked with to date.
Why so much change from ( https://www.furaffinity.net/view/3136921/ )?
All honesty, I've wanted something looking different and being referred to as different for some time now. Nintendo clearly has their own direction and themes in mind for Mewtwo's development (however painfully slow it is), and to be honest, a lot of my original design didn't really fit with that from the get-go. The design for the character has always been a lot of my own interests mixed into a mewtwo frame.
So for this remix, just decided to go all out. I'm prior military, and while I was in the military I did security and tactical training. Even if it's never used for anything significant in RPs or story, the idea of the character having a more tactical appearance and capability with his own set of armored plating (similar to the original chest-piece my 'sona had, in that it's tough, but still kinda flexy to not impede movement) always seemed cool. And I really like the visual effect.
The multi-armed approach? Heck, I've always thought it was practical. Also looks neet.
The slimmer build? I've always had a slim build myself, and in the mewtwo-frame it adds a nice sleek appearance.
