Jacque is an odd yinglet. His teeth are flat instead of sharp, which lets him masticate plant material with greater ease and efficiency than the average yinglet. This combined with his short hind legs makes him terrible at catching small fast prey, but works well for him to eat whatever fruits and vegetables he comes across. He has chosen to be exclusively vegetarian, and he is quite plump either in spite of this, or because of this. He is not well liked because he often raids whatever garden he can crawl into. He thinks that his green head hair helps him blend in, but due to his orange fur, he sticks out like a sore thumb. After one particular raid where he successfully got into Ivenmoth's undergarden, he gorged himself on the gourds that were almost ready for the harvest festival. Not knowing when to quit, he was eventually caught. Due to the guard under estimating how fast an obese yinglet could run, Jacque managed to escape with his life, but broke a leg in the process. He has since recovered and left Val Salia in fear of his life. But the Ivenmoth personnel are not aware of this fact and have ever since kept a keen eye out for a festival gourd shaped yinglet they refer to as "Poom'k".
