Item the first: This is supposed to be a gentle poke at furries, not a hate comic, unless you are the type of person who feels the need to blurt out your fetishes to random strangers on IM and do not understand the concept of "NO", in which case yes, this comic probably applies to you. :)
Item the second: If you choose to get severely offended by this comic for the sheer fact that it deals with furries then perhaps you are taking yourself a bit too seriously, and I shouldn't like to see you deal with actual vitriol as opposed to "hey, I'm laughing WITH you". :)
Ok, here's where we get to the real poke-at in the comic. Like I said in the copypasta disclaimer up there, I'm not so much poking at furries as I am people who seem to believe that introducing themselves and going into detail about their kinky fetishes is appropriate or "cute". This applies to -anyone-, not just furries.
I think panel 4 is my favorite Arty to date.

I cannot see the American McGee resemblance because of the morbidity of his art style as compared to how cutesy the art style here is. Artie doesn't look very emaciated, or with veiled anger as that Cheshire Cat.

Artie's all big eyes and the little hearts make me think of lenseflares, and the posturing and gesture sort of resemble flying or gliding to me, like Astro Boy.
