Okay so let me tell you why I love this picture a hell of alot.
My avatar/furry is a white tiger and my anthro has 2 other white tiger cubs as pets. So remember dis.
Anyhoo, basically last year I lost everything, my childhood home, my apartment, my family, everything I ever really known since I was born. Ontop of this, I suffer from treatment resistant depression and post traumatic stress disorder, so I knew I was going homeless ahead of time, and luckily, I was able to get my mom into a room for rent so she was taken care of.
Well at this point I had basically lost everything, so after I got my mom into a place and all was said and done, I had planned on ending my life cuz well.....pretty much lost everything and I had no hope of ever making it out.
However, my friend found me, and brought me into his home, and his family gave me an entire one bedroom to myself free of rent. With this, I was able to raise enough money to recover and ontop of it I am now being treated for the horrible hell I endured for 6 years that pretty much destroyed my life.
SO when I see this picture? I see myself in that kitty boys eyes. To me, he looks like he's seen some shit, but he made it out and now someone is is holding his hand helping him out of the dark.
and that's why I love this piece so much, it actually brings out emotion. To have a picture bring out emotion you have to be one HELL of an artist, I mean a REALLY damn good artist cuz not everyone can do this. So thank you for showing the world such beauty.
