We may need to explain the word "simuran". It is not commonly used on English language websites yet. I think the quick explanation is that in modern use "simuran" means a winged wolf or dog (or any canine with wings, whether feral or anthro) and is based on old pagan Slavic stories. I hope that is an accurate short explanation.

That's an interesting term, simuran. I knew of the winged lions, either in heraldry or the sign of St. Mark or a lamassu but no this. Learned something new. :D
