I saw this breakfast recipe on FB and I had ta try it. I made this over the weekend of the big Jan. 23 snow-storm and it made being snowed in just a bit more pleasant.
You'll need a muffin tray, some bacon, eggs, bread, and grated cheese (Have you ever noticed, Almost all American recipes seem to have cheese in them? )
Pre-cook slices of bacon, but not quite to crispy. You'll need to bend them into a circle. Next, Using a jar or tumbler, cut circles of bread out and place them in the bottoms of the muffin cups. Place a generous pinch (maybe about a teaspoon) of grated cheese - use whatever type you like - and then wrap the bacon slices around the inside of the muffin cup. Crack the eggs and pour them into each muffin cup trying not to break the yokes. Season with salt and pepper or any other seaonings you like. Pop them into a 400F oven for about 15 minutes and them garnish before serving with green onion or whatever you have, serve hot. These are quite tasty and filling!
Sorry for the bad photo... Some days I just can't get a good pic no matter how much I try. I find food photography a difficult subject.

Why certainly... Its not a silly question. Grated cheeze is easily available at a supermarket. Or, a block o cheese and a grater works. Heck this recipe might be just as tasty if you use a dab of velveeta! Of course cutting a block into small pieces works too. Cooking great stuff isn't really too difficult. Many recipes are flexible.
