Nintendo of America wants to pretend Sheik is a female, but that's bullshit. Zelda undergoes an actual physical transformation that can't be denied (eye color, hair color, and musculature), and in Smash Bros., he's got a flat chest, a deeper voice, and a bulge. MAGIC = PENIS! ~;333

actaly, even the Japanese Nintendo Staff refer to Sheik as a female. the only time Sheiks ever truly been a male, is in the manga versions of OoT. and those are considerd non-canon as events that didnt take place in the game, happend in the manga.

even Her creator, Sakurai, has referd to Sheik as a female.

Sakurai was a developer on Smash Bros., not Ocarina of Time, so his authority on it isn't much stronger than mine. ~;3 Besides, if he really thinks Sheik's female, he sure had an eye for detail, making her pack a bulge and all. As for other Japanese Nintendo staff, I'd need to see the original cite, because American translators like to insert gendered pronouns where they aren't used in the original. ~;3
