commissions are open!
this time around i’m only doing simple fullbody pieces, with up to two characters, in roughly the style shown above (i may tweak little things, especially the shading). examples of my art can be found here on fa, and also on deviantart and tumblr.
prices
all prices are in CAD, and base prices are for ‘feral’ animal characters (i charge more for human/anthro characters because i’m less experienced with them & they take more time/effort for me to draw)
- $10 for a flat coloured piece
- $15 for a shaded piece
- double the price for a two-character piece
- add $5 for each human or ‘anthro’ character
for example, if you wanted a shaded drawing of a human character with their pet dog, the price would be $35 ($15 base price for a shaded piece, x2 for two characters, +$5 for the human character)
setting up a commission
if you want to commission me, please send an email to damondear.art@gmail.com with ‘commission’ in the subject, and include all of the following in the email:
1. what kind of art you want (flat or shaded)
2. at least one clear reference image or detailed written description for each character (visual references are strongly preferred) **
3. a brief description of each character’s personality (if not already included in their ref sheet) **
4. [optional] what kind of pose you want your character(s) in, what kind of facial expression you want them to have, etc
5. [optional] what kind of background you want (eg. solid colour, transparent, something experimental like this?)
6. your paypal email
(** references/descriptions are not required if you are commissioning me to draw fanart - see ‘important notes’ below)
i will send you a paypal invoice once we’ve worked out the details and price of your commission, and i will start working on your commission once you’ve paid. from there, you can expect your completed commission within a week or two!
other important notes:
- i will not draw anything ‘nsfw’. this includes porn, nudity, gore, and anything fetish-related.
- i will draw fanart, but only of characters that i’m personally familiar with! see my list of fandoms in my tumblr ‘about’ page, or just ask and i’ll let you know if i know who you’re talking about.
- i may reject your commission request for any reason - for example, if your character’s design is too complex and i don’t feel capable of drawing it well, or if you want me to draw fanart of a ship i’m not comfortable with.
- i may upload your finished commission to tumblr, deviantart, and/or furaffinity, unless you specifically request that i don’t!
- you may share your own commission anywhere you want, as long as you give me credit for the art.
- refund policy: if i take an unreasonably long time to complete your commission (let’s say two months or more), or if i find myself unable to complete it, i will gladly offer you a full refund. unfortunately, i cannot offer refunds if you’re simply unhappy with your completed commission, but i will do my best to fix it up for you if it only requires minor changes.
if you think there’s something i’ve missed here, or if you have any questions at all, don’t be afraid to ask! i tried to make everything as clear as possible, but i’m not perfect, and i totally understand if you need extra clarification. feel free to email me or note me about anything!
