Ank'ti pilots a vehicle called a skipjet: a hybrid atmospheric-and-space craft that is known for "skipping" off of a planet's atmosphere to evade enemy missiles and craft. Capable of incredible speeds and maneuvers, pilots of skipjets require highly advanced equipment to prevent loss of consciousness or death during the more tricky stunts. Here Ank'ti is shown wearing her g-suit. To provide additional protection, the cockpits of skipjets are filled with liquid.
