Good cop should not live in the old dirty dorm .... at least not the only one) So I think that Judy would be better to share the new cozy accommodation with her best friend and colleague) After your home is where you are waiting^___^
I do not want to hear anything like a serious chemistry between these two characters, I greet only friendship and platonic love!

You know... most animated films don't need sequels, IMO. And when a studio tries to make one, I'm supremely disinterested. It's just too obviously a money grab. But after having finally seen Zootopia, I have to say this one might be an exception. I can well imagine a sequel to this film, and I can imagine watching it.
Nice picture, though I think Judy's crazy neighbours are so funny she SHOULD live in that box a while longer for the humour potential!
Also you DON'T see Judy and Nick as having chemistry? Interesting! First person I met like that.
So why where they flirting then in your eyes?
Because I'm pretty sure if they weren't flirting, Nick's line wouldn't have been "You know you love me?" in a hopeful tone.
It'd probably have been "You know I'm just kidding around right?" in a casual tone. (And wouldn't have involved him leaning towards Judy making goo goo eyes, but him slumping lazily against his chair.)
I'm actually seriously asking! I want to know how you interpret the flirting. Do you see it as entirely non-serious flirting? Or not like flirting at all? And do you not like them at all as a couple, or do you just not like couples in movies?
Just curious!

Love and friendship concept is very broad and applicable to a variety of situations, no need to get hung up on any one value, for example, if the characters close eye contact, it means that they are head over heels in love with each other. No, this is not the case, for example I can look at a person very carefully, not because I passionately love it, but just because I like the color of his eyes or the shape. Why I can not say to a close friend, I love him? As a friend? Or I can not tell my sister that I love her, or my friend? Or it is not love, but something else?
Loving, mean value, to show sympathy and respect for something. Similarly, I believe that the phrase was in Nick's comic overtones, indicating what Judy calls it "stupid" as a joke, kindly, because he loved as a friend. Do friends do not like each other? I speak from my own relationship, I have a boy, whom I love very much, but we are not a couple, not a lover, just really appreciate each other. This is also love, love, bright, clean, without vices, without passion.
And I so much love opriyatnee than that breaks hearts and leaves in traces of dirty soul.
And then, I do not think that the creators of the characters and the plot zootopia so stupid to create a hint of interspecies relations on friendship. Just nowhere to fantasy fans pour.
How I personally interpret Nick and Judy's relationship, is that there is some chemistry early on. But it's just that, chemistry. Initially they're busy working on a case, they're initially adversarial. So I don't think for a moment they are in love there. They just have chemistry. I think in particular that Judy acts like she is a little attracted to Nick, which also fits her psychology.
Judy's a rescuer, Nick is a guy who needs to be rescued but who still can and will stand on his own two feet and stand up to her. Between that and those eyes, yeah... it makes sense she'd act like that. But they're not really in love at that point.
How I interpret the ending is that Nick went through the police academy (So we're a bit in the future and Judy and Nick have known eachother for a while now.) And Nick's final flirty 'you know you love me' line is playful/hopeful flirting. Testing the waters to see if she might be up for it. (With her response being positive.)
And I'm pretty sure it WAS deliberately written like that. (especially with how many rewrites this movie had!) So yes, the movie ends with them not being couple. But the part they're not telling you is that it also ends on a note that they'd likely start dating after the movie even so.
If I was writing it myself and I wanted them to just be friends I'd have chosen different lines and body language at the end. But I think given their chemistry I'd just realize... yeah these two characters would work very well together and it'd be interesting (given the culture in the city they live in.) for them to be together. So I'd just roll with that, even if it had NOT been my intent.
So I suspect my reading of it is what the writers had in mind. And if it isn't, I suspect they will realize what they did later and roll with it. I'm virtually never a shipper, but I ship these two. They really got some gold there, potentially.
In fact if I was writing and I DID want to just have them be friends, I think I'd just made Nick a girl. (Unless I was writing a budding lesbian relationship of course. But I mean I'd have written them as two straight women then.) Purely platonic M/F friendships are possible, sure... But I can't really see that here in the long run for these two. Seems kind of a waste if they didn't! They'd be so interesting/cute together!
Anyway I figured I'd ask you your take! Not sure what 'opriyatnee' is though! And 'dirty soul'? Well I don't believe in souls myself! I guess I can't really argue with religious objections!

How many people, so many opinions, your opinion, and my opinion may be equally right and wrong for someone like. I do not think it makes sense to argue about this, because everyone has their own idea about love and happiness and every different want to see the relationship of the couple.
And I apologize for my clumsy English.
And I apologize for my clumsy English.
These two are great as a couple.
Chemistry does not necessarily mean lovers, it just means they work together very well.
To be honest, I liked that the movie ended with them in a place of comfort and stability as a pair. Good friends who play off of one another's strengths and weaknesses.
I could see them actually helping one another get ready for dates, Judy asking Nick if he knows any nice places to eat, or Nick asking judy if his tie looks straight.
