Gosh this was so hard to get.... I think its a 4 image HDR to try and get some detail. There's still so much missing in the actual sculptures on the pylons....but I can't do much else with those. I tried burning them in a little to help draw out the shadows, and that worked to an extent....
I really wanted a nice shot of this with the sky in the background. I still wish that damn branch didn't cover the spot light for the first pylon on the left though....

Oh god damnit.... This is really horrible...but I'm just NOW realizing that I didn't get this framed quite the way I wanted..... Oh well...the result is still decent enough that I'd print it...

Don't beat yourself up, man. THis is great! HDR is increidibly difficult when you're working with soft skylight and heavy artificial light, trying to get details from both. I've done outdoor HDR, and I've not had results this good. Incredible, seriously. Did you use the bracketing feature on the D70 for this?
