This was done in my old animation cel format, a media that is extremely unforgiving of mistakes. There's a few things I'd do differently, but overall it came out OK, considering I haven't done anything like this in 6 or 7 years.

Well not bodyguard, more like enforcer/hitman. Think Frank Nitti, under Al Capone. Jenner being a top level crime lord would only hire the best, namely Jack. And if Jack's gonna work for anyone, it would be for someone important; and possibly even more cruel, evil, and conniving than he is. Don't you agree?

Maybe, but lets not forget how brutal and ruthless Jenner is in his own right. The idea of seeing bodies crushed and torn to pieces gives him great delight. He also has no qualms about making mince meat of his closest friends an allies at a whim and smiling happily about it afterwards. That's a hard guy to out do unless you are very good and very smart.
I know I'm late to this conversation, but I'll suggest is more like Tarkin and Vader. While Tarkin may SEEM to hold Vader's leash, later stories show it's more of a collaboration. Tarkin handles things that might be out of Vader's scope, and while Tarkin's not as strong, he's a lot more manipulative and sees "the big picture" for the empire.
I agree its more of a mutually advantageous collab. They both think alike so they both know, or think they know, which way the other one will jump in most situations. As such it increases the mutual security by keeping each other within arms length we they can both see each other and so they don't 'butt heads' since their business and hobbies occupy the same space as each other. So long as they both gain something from the association it will continue. But it has little to do with love or respect, since they are both extreme sociopaths, and really have none to give.
