Celeste opened her eyes as the sun peered into her room through the blinds. Sitting up she yawned and stretched as she started to slowly get out of bed. She carefully put her hind paws on the floor trying not to step on any of her scattered sketches messily tossed though out her room. She made her way to the blinds and opened them. Will that big yawn she said to herself, “Time for a great day!”
She rustled around looking for something to wear, she realized that her laundry hasn’t been done for quite a while. She picked up a pair of what looked like clean stocking and issued a sniff test. Taking one huge whiff she could tell they were clean. She quickly moved to her closet looking for something to wear. “Oooo, this red tank top looks great!” She happily said to herself as she giggled. She was going to look fine today.
Celeste walked into the kitchen to find breakfast already made. There was a note sitting next to it.
“Hey hun sorry it’s not the greatest meal but I tried. Akaiya was giving me shit this morning saying I needed to make you something nice. All I could do was fix you eggs. Good luck love, Ichorous.”
Celeste laughed as she sat down to eat. While eating another note caught her eye. She reached over to bring it closer to read.
“Hey best friend! I read the note Ichorous left you. I did not give him shit, humph. Anyway there is a surprise for you in my room go grab it and use it for today. Go get'em girl, Akaiya. P.S. Ichorous helped me pick it out so I hope you like it. ^^”
Celeste paused from eating to go find the gift in Akaiya’s room. On her bed was a red box with a black ribbon. Excited she quickly removed the lid. She reached inside moving away the tissue paper and her eyes lit up. A band new black fedora. This would go perfect with her outfit.
As she walked back in the kitchen she looked at the time. She was going to be late if she didn’t hurry. Celeste quickly scarfed down her food and placed the dishes in the sink.
Celeste walked outside looking around for her ride. She hoped they we’re late. But just as she was about to worry she her friend’s vehicle in the distance. The car slowly stopped in front of her.
“Well are we going or not?” Verena shouted from the driver’s seat.
“I’m coming hold your damn horses.”
Celeste got in the car and the drove off.
“Thank you so much for setting this up for me Verena. It means a lot.”
“No problem girl I wouldn’t have done it if I didn’t already know that you’d be perfect for the job.”
“Oh, stop you’re making me blush”
“Heh, I make everyone blush sweetie. That’s just how I roll.”
Celeste giggled as the continued to talk towards their destination.
The car slowly stopped inform of a large plain white building. Celeste started to shake and her nerves started to act up.
Verena put her hand on her on hers to comfort her. “Hey, don’t be nervous. You’ll do fine I know it. Now suck it up and break a leg.”
“Thanks Verena. I will!” Celeste gave Verena a big hug and exited the car. She slowly walked toward the double doors and push them open.
As soon as she entered a cool breeze from the AC blew into her face. It made her muzzle tingle as she rubbed her snout trying to warm it up.
“Hello Miss.” A man greeted her as she regained her composure. “You must be Celeste. They have been expecting you in studio room 3.”
“Thank you.” She answered as she then started to walk down the hall.
Celeste walked in front of the door that said ‘Studio 3’ and took a deep breath, then walked right in.
A Young lady with a camera greeter her as she stepped into the studio. “Oh there you are we we’re getting worried.” She walked over and shook her hand. “My name is Amy I will be doing all of the photography work today.”
“Nice to meet you. I’m Celeste” She nervously mumbled.
“Oh don’t be shy I’m sure we’ll have a lot of fun today. Also I must say your fur is wonderful! You’re going to look gorgeous. Now if you would sit over there on that stool and we will start.”
Celeste sat on the stool with her hands between her thighs.
“Oh my goodness you look adorable.” Amy squealed as she took a photo. Celeste was not expecting her to start so soon. “I’m sorry I just had to take a shot of that. You looked so innocent I feel like I was going to die. But any who. Let’s try a more seductive pose next.”
Hours went by as photo after photo was taken. Celeste started to feel more comfortable as the day went on. And before she knew it her session was over.
“Thank you so much Celeste you were awesome. I’ll take these shots and give them to our editor. We’ll let you know which picture we use for the magazine. But for now have a good day.”
Celeste shook Amy’s hand and thanked her as she made her way towards the lobby.
As soon as she entered the main lobby she couldn’t help but be surprised. Ichorous, Akaiya, and Verena were all standing there waiting to congratulate her. She then bolted over to them and gave them each a big hug.
“We have a surprise for you.” Ichorous said smiling at Celeste. “We’re all going out to celebrate your first photo shoot.”
Akaiya wacked Ichorous in the back of the head. “You’re not supposed to tell her the surprise dummy.”
“Now, now you two. Today is a special day for Celeste. Let’s have some fun.” Verena intervened pushing Akaiya and Ichorous apart.
Celeste smiled. “That sounds like a great idea.”
Celeste then thought to herself. ‘Today was awesome and my friends just made it better.’
