Zeverdan, or Zev for short, is the Fire Guardian and one time childhood friend of Xarnak. Though the two are from the same race, their difference of appearance is due to the Guardians' ability to be born in multiple random forms to maximize their abilities. Zeverdan has control over fire and a variety of arcane magic. He is near to Xarnak's equal rival; what he lacks in power, he makes up for in brutality. He has a vicious temper which normally leads him to go on rampages. He is arrogant, cocky, and violent preferring to use his flames over words to resolve conflicts. He challenges Xarnak to destructive battles constantly.
Although he can be malevolent at times, he is not entirely evil. Zev and Xarnak recently fought together to survive a battle instead of trying to kill each other. The two realized that despite their differences, they still cared for each other. Now whenever they battle, it's more about testing their strengths against each other than survival.
