I probably have have 200 characters, if we define that as anything I have drawn more than once that isn't completely copied off of somebody else. So why do I fixate so much on getting THIS one just right?
veterans of this reference sheet (and I salute your service) might notice that all allusions to grapes have been removed. Grapes are still ALLOWED but I am not implying anything about them.
I recently realized that heavy-looking bunched up socks do not work for me and have altered them here. I have not yet seen a need to label that. Nor that I dislike for the feet to be conspicuously mirrored if the legs are drawn distinctly or the upper body is not itself completely symmetrical (but I do dislike that). And I dare you to point out somebody else to whom that would be a significant, recurring factor.
The thigh tattoo still goes unmentioned because I don't want to encourage poses that dwell on it.
It is rumored pirates have buried treasure somewhere in the upper right vicinity of this image.

Awww... I wish I had spotted this earlier. last year. I just happen to like your plant-girl characters, and I was delighted to see more about them. What I find most intriguing about the character is that thy seem far more ambulatory than the average cactus, plus their large eyes and rounded faces are quite charming. I get all these crazy ideas in my head about how perhaps the creatures have gotten asaimilated into our world, and seem to enjoy exploring our variations in clothing design. I figure on their world that the use of outer garments might be frowned upon as the togs might interfere with photosynthesis. Our sun, which is much closer to our world than theirs, and bright yellow, might encourage their chloroplasts to work far more efficiently, and thus they can dress themselves far more flamboyantly.
Heck. I just like them. I especially like the little touches of leaves and fruit.

Eh I deleted every picture about a year ago so this would not have been here!
Thank you for liking them! In fact I this might be the only one of these creatures, unless we count the infrequently encountered bespectacled variant as a different individual.
I cannot imagine this living in OUR world since this manner of dress would not be tolerated, and I cannot realistically imagine someone for whom partial nudity is acceptable not just staying fully nude. Although maybe that is owed to the majority of my bad anthropomorph influences showing either fully clothed or fully nude figures.
I have personally imagined a totally absurd rule that explains the dress style, but again it would not function in any thought-out context.

Aha. First of all I apologize for mistakenly believing the image was from late last year. I view my submissions to favorite on TWO separate screens. One set in the past, and the other for "NOW." So, in this instance, I had forgotten to "Switch Gears" and thought I was faving stuff from last year, when I was actually looking at the "Recent" submissions screen. Sorry for the mix up.
And I am sorry I got a little carried away with the Plant-Girls concept. I guess I'm just a frustrated, old science fiction writer who had to turn his talents for writing comic scripts. Every image I see can tell a story, and considering the playful, little details you put in each image, your characters can "Speak" volumes.

Checking the dates on things, the earliest posted version was from July 10 2012! But it looked like that http://orig12.deviantart.net/789a/f.....ia-d9ybibp.jpg which I do not like at all.
Do not apologize for that! I occasionally wonder if I have worried too much about people hating me for making this character and if I should not have treated the matter as if I think other people will think there were something wrong with it.
I am increasingly also quite old and can sympathize with feeling self-consciousness from that, and would not wish to have you feel that way!

Thank you for saying so! This started as, essentially, merely one of my "normal" imp characters with a few vines and a slightly more womanly figure, but I am certainly glad if it seems to have come to more than that.
