I took this photo last winter with my telescope from my balcony more or less at the sea level with my telescope not very well collimated and a not very stable magnyfiyng configuration. Yet, the photo is not bad. This is the center of M42, orion nebula.

I do not think there is any life in the Orion Nebula, teher is too much space debris and radiation. This is actually were stars are born. May be, in some million years, when all that gas and dust that forms the nenula condense into stars and plates, life will appear there.
