Lexi was no stranger to coming home and letting herself in. She and her sister had been on their own for some years and with her sister working for some government entity she wasn't always working a 9 to 5. As a result, Lexi often let herself in when she came home from school with her key. She inserted it into the lock and turned, pushing the door open while holding a bag full of groceries in her right arm.
She walked inside and set the bag on the counter, looking out the window that rested over the sink. The sun had started to drop below the horizon. Just as she was about to start unpacking the food, she looked up to see that she was not alone...

Her story is still in development, once I have all the pieces I can start working out the plot. ;) I know she'll have powers, I just need to decide what they are. ;) Not only that, the cast needs a bit more filling out, but other than that, I pretty much have a plan on her and her sister's personalities so that's something. ;)
This picture really just sums her up too. I'd hoped to get a picture of her using her powers but I'm still not sure what those are just yet. In any event, I love the clothes fox-die gave her, you and he are pretty much the best at clothes. Admittedly that's one of my weak areas.
She's a fast bear and pretty good in a fight, too. :)
I'm glad pony likes her, I've been on a bit of a bear kick lately. ;) Now I have three, two guys and a girl. ;)

Oh my. Well, she's certainly off to an interesting start. I only hope whoever has let themselves into her house proves to be friendly, even if they are being rather rude! But she really is quite a pretty girl, and I really like her purple jacket and the purple highlights in her hair. I'm not sure how I missed seeing this when you first posted it, but I'm definitely looking forward to learning more about her!
Somehow, after you said that, I imagined that maybe what she sees is this..... I do love the hair and the outfit, it just fits so well with what I have in mind. Usually letting fox-die design clothes works out better than anything I could come up with.

I very often let artists design clothes for my characters rather than trying to do it myself. As with my recent picture of Ciara and Brigit, it almost always works out far better. Then I end up shamelessly stealing them, as I've done with what is, more or less, Megan's default outfit. Aw, sorry about that. FA has a bad habit of eating posts sometimes, though, which may explain it. And, just recently, of unwatching random people for me.

Yeah, now that I have that in my head, that's totally how Maeve enters the story. LOL. I love that.
Most often I know that what the artist will draw is way better than what I could clumsily invent myself, so I just let them handle it. Often it's worth it. :)
