I was walking past and saw my cat sleeping like this and I had to grab the digital camera and take a few shots. I snapped like a dozen before he even moved (and just a little too despite the flashes on the later ones). Crazy lazy cat.

I'm from TeXaS. Yeeeeeeee Haaaaaaaaaaaaw! But I doubt he was responsible as he passed away a while back (someone hit him with a car... on purpose according to a neighbor). Besides, he was such a laid back cat. I could pick him up and hang him almost upside down and he would care, just lay there like a ragdoll (must have some of that ragdoll cat in him).
We got another cat that looks almost as much as this one. Named him Poncho too. Not quite as laid back but still a cool cat that.

Must be more of the same-looking cats around here then lol I thought the coloring would be rare, considering theres only one of those guys around here, and they look neat. However the one around here is a total jerk XD I wanted to try to get him to be nice, but he won't come to me at all, unlike the other cats. He comes around to steal and harm, but he hasn't came around much since my kittens learned how to fight. And damn that sucks D: I know how ya feel, the mother cat of the 3 kittens I have got killed by my neighbors, found her on the road one snowy morning, buried her later, her kittens weren't too happy about it. Now that their real moms gone, I'm like a mom, those kits stay around for food, play fight with me and cling for attention XD I'm from Missouri, the "sour" state lol
That coat pattern seems to be fairly common around here. It's called point coloration. Siamese cats are the most known example.
There is one cat that has a similar pattern but lighter color with a little bit of a tabby fur that hangs around the house starting a few weeks ago. The guy is super friendly and will rub against my legs whenever I am outside.
I was sad when we had to put the original Poncho down. His back was broken when the car hit him and was paralyzed in the back legs. The new 'Poncho' showed up several months later, forgot where but I think from the neighbor down the street.

Every coat coloration percentage will be different depending on areas I suppose lol cause there's only one of those guys around here, however his face is almost completely black, he has icy blue eyes. He looks neat, just wish he wasn't a jerk to my kittens lol
And damn...I'm glad I never had to put any of my animals down, it's already hard enough for me to lose them from casual deaths, may sound crazy, but it pretty much gets me depressed the same way as when a human passes in the family. However, I grew up with animals, so eh, I don't care if my neighbors think I am crazy when I talk to my cats XD
As for where the cat that terrorizes my kittens comes from, I'm not sure. I don't think he would be someones because he's super aggressive, all I know is that he's a badass rogue around here and not many cats like him, other bullies tend to hang out with him though, but I've seen some other cats try to stand up to him, like one time he was going after some she-cat, but she didn't want him, so I heard her screaming, turns out she had a boyfriend somewhere, her boyfriend came outta nowhere and got in the mean cats face, eventually some other wild cats came, they all scared the big mean one off for a while. I love how the wild cats around here stick up for one another, I wish humans could be more like that XD
