What you need to understand is the field of work he's in.

I didn't know how much my own father kept his eye on politics. I learn a lot about whats going on in the government from just him alone. The business that Straycat and my father are in, are so tied and closely related with politics, it makes my head spin.

I've been in politics myself - I served under two mayors in Cleveland, and I played a role in several campaigns through the 90s and 00s.

I think its great that he watches politics and what goes on in Washington. I just found out about a new bill that was passed shortly after Obama came into office and how its going to screw the Trucking industry over. I know that the lobbiests who fight for the Trucking industry got a 90 day grace period for the bill. But my fathers afraid that its literally going to hault the trucking industry.

Its a pretty serious thing, some people just can't imagine how much the country lives on Truckers. It's such a blind dependency that if every trucker parked their trucks for 3-5 days and did nothing... America would turn itself inside out. And unfortunately, the bill that was just passed has a potential to do just this.

So I think it's absolutely necessary that Straycat's watching the politics. Just because his character ref sheet displays likes and dislikes, that doesn't mean its only for his character and role play sessions. They very well could be his own personal likes and dislikes as well. And I believe that they are.

My fursona and I are synonymous. there are VERY few differences (he looks ALOT better than I do, and get to dress up a LOT more)

YES, I watch polotics. personaly I think it's the job of every American (every PERSON, actually) to police their government and prevent exactly the kind of crap that is going on in washington today.
