In a land (not so) far away, a story has been left untold. A story of loss and love, of adventure and action, of magic wands and fallen kingdoms. Mischievous koopas, singing goombas, and oddball yoshies abound in this tale, from dark forests to the charred underground. But centered upon the stage is the unrevealed origin of a peculiar young daemon koopa, and the hues of live that he has endured in his short life. But there is more behind the scenes of this narrative, for this youth has possibly stirred more than he has intended. Still, every story has a start, every tale has a beginning. The daemon koopa's past is ready to be told, the strange and dangerous characters he meets are littered within, and the stage is set. It is time to know the Origin of...Shade the Koopa!

TA DA! Yes, look on people. This is one of the things that has been occupying most of my time and a large chunk of my creativity. This is a comic commission that was pitched to me by Shade Koopa that has grown slightly larger than it's original conception. Reason be, is because while Shade has given me crucial bits here and there, I was given a lot of freedom to flush out Shade's origin story.
You'll learn where he came from, how he initially grew up, how he changed to be the Koopa he is today. But, you'll also learn who changed him (figuratively AND literally tahahaha!), how he gained a wand and magic, and some other interesting characters who are connected to his life as well. But even beyond that, you might even see some background of the Mario-verse that's been untold, enriching Shade's role in his possible future.
The story itself is set, but I still have the ending to finish up. But here's the cover to get you all excited for the big story. There's tense situations, funny moments, action and adventure, a whole lotta stuff. It also looks kinda pretty don't ya think? Tah haha.
But yeah, I have been working my padded tail off to get this HUGE project done, and I'm nearly there! And once I am, I will be sitting back and taking it easy and may be resting to the point of merging with my bed, because I'm burned out. It's been a long running project, but I'm glad with how it's been coming out, Shade's been terrific with letting me tell his story, and I've enjoyed making it.
So get patient people, the story will be told sometime in the future. Soon you will know the origin of Shade the Koopa!
