i would be willing to bet otherwise. a pencil sketch that you then traced with ink, much as you did with the pencil above would be very close.
now if you got fancy, sketched first, then traced onto a new sheet using carbon paper, then inked, i be willing to bet with a little practice you could produce far more awesome art!

those are great, but even felt tip markers (real cheap), supper fine ball-point pens, and real liquid ink pens, like uniball, all can give good results.
i like to mix and match, using the best strength of each type of pen or marker.
if your inking a good sketch, baring a slip, the result should be as good, if not better, then the original. Then it makes it easier to color if you so desire.
