Okay, this gal came to me as a random thought of what if ya had a spider that did not spin webs and could not sew. And I got creative.
Name: Betta Ragno
Age: 19
Height: 4'8'
Bust: 'ya mad yet sista?'
Personality: A bit uppity about her short size. Nerdy, extremely smart and willing to prove it. Can come off as a bit of a prude but deep down she's a soft little girl.
History: Betta was born to some italian jumping spiders that had the unfortunate luck that she came out under developed. Her father was part of a lab team looking into how nano technology can work in an organic body. In desperation to save his daughter, he placed her in under the knife to let a hub be placed into her abdomen. The aim was that the nano machines would work inside her to try developing her body to becoming healthy as she was born under-developed. The procedure worked and things went well. She still required glasses to see though which was fine. What her parents would notice over time was Betta's ability to learn new processes and learn stuff after doing it once or twice while being able to come up with solutions to problems much faster then her other classmates. Her abdomen also had a faint glow to her markings as side effect of the nano machines inside her abdomen. Her silk was practically useless for anything structural. To her parent's amazement when they learned the nano machines had modified her silk webbing to act as a sort of data cable as well as a power cable for various electronics.
On one fateful day in middle school, she was playing soft ball with her classmates for PE. One of the girls threw the ball a bit off and popped Betta in her left eye shattering her glasses. The broken glass got into her eye and damaged her eye. She was taken to the doctors and the docs said she may never see out of that eye. Though after a few days when she returned to check on the said eye after it had been bandaged up, to everyone's surprise including Betta herself was her eye was completely functional. Though it was more mechanical in nature behind the lens. It was then her father's research team looked back into Betta finding that the nano machines had started to merge with Betta and her body, allowing her to become a sort of walking computer. A living organism with a machine backdoor that could repair herself thanks to the nano machines as well as allowing her to compute mass amounts of data at once. It's no wonder she got into an IV league school with little trouble. She's small but she can wrap ya in code so fast your computer may freeze up.
