This is what Taru, my mate's catfolk bard, actually looks like when not turned into a bunny but a certain cursed item. A friend of ours clued her in on the existence of a 3d model pose site which she used to help with references, and thanks to that came out with probably the best drawing she feels she's done to date. Another friend played out the random notes on guitar, just out of curiosity, and turns out they sound halfway decent.

The character is very charismatic when performing, but quite shy otherwise, leading her to be more likely to hide behind a bar when trouble presents itself than go out and fight. Luckily her main weapon is a crossbow, so that hasn't caused any troubles in actual battles. The strange mark that appears four times behind the note is a rune that has been inscribed on her through unexplained means (Was originally on a stone but transferred to her back after the holder of the stone died). it originated as a simple deus ex machina to explain how PCs kept disappearing and reappearing based on their players ability to attend, but has really grown into a major plot element.

I'm pretty happy wth the coloring on this one, feel like I'm beginning to grasp some of the tougher parts of shading and whatnot. Background is a bit blah but I had no idea what to do with that :P
