toy cockatrices are a smaller, more manageable version of the terrifying chicken beasts they get their name from. flightless and without the deadly stare, they make perfect pets! well, if you don't mind them tearing your furniture up.

there are also two new traits introduced! toy cockatrices sporting spikes and head crests are appearing, as shown in the kestrel and jay adoptables here. these two traits have no affect on the price, as they are relatively common, however future ones may be more expensive.
