Monhare leaned back against the railing, thinking back on the night over two hundred years ago. His worst memory, yet a smile played upon his face. He couldn't know how his life would be different, but he wouldn't change what happened for the world. He owed his looks, his love, and possibly even his hotel to that night.

"Beautiful night," a voice beside him said. He turned to face his fiancee, Jolana.

"Always."
