These pics are kind of old since this was finished at the end of January, but after I mentioned having had it done, quite a few people requested I post a picture.
THERE IT IS. I still need to get some touch ups done as Nate, my Tattoo artist went a little crazy with shading and somewhat forgot that Amaterasu is a -white- wolf.
AS FOR THE ART, The original artwork was done by Missmonster

Mel gave me permission to use her work, and then gave me hell about not having had it done when she actually met me in person at SDCC
Also...marvel at my MAN CALVES. Seriously, I have manly legs.

Annnnd it only started to hurt once they got into those flames XD More or less, it felt like my skin was being peeled off @_@
For the most part though, the pain factor wasn't too bad. I also think it varies from person to person depending on your pain tolerance.

FINALLY, I was waiting for a pic to pop up. It is pretty nice I admit, but yeah, crazy with all the shading, since ammy is white and all, and the red markings kinda drown in all the grey. I just hope it can be fixed a bit. I love the tealish outline, looks super nice. Would love to see how it looks in natural light though, photos always make it darker.
Also, touching up is a pain in the ass I tell you, it hurts like a motherfucker. I'm going in for a 3rd session on my starmen and there will be cursing. Don't ever get tattoos on your shoulders ever ever ever (front side).
