There's this thing that I've been trying to get right for a really long time, where you draw out the lighting in gray and then fill in the colours, but I always fucked it up by either screwing up the colours, or destroying the grayscale so everything is too contrasted. Finally got it right though! Figured out what I was doing wrong, so I'm gonna be using this technique more, it lets you have soooo much more control.
