An old artwork that i must keep in FA since it was one of my favorite one. this was done somewhere in 2006 after completing my matrix APU artwork. it was also a memory of my previous dream bike and still are today, it was sad that GT discontinue this model and even more sadder that my local bike shop stop supplying GT bicycles.

one thing for sure about GT is that it was a very solid design especially the tripple triangle frame, but because of it's solid frame it was heavy and not a popular choice for weight weenies like me, i have a GT mountain bike i was hoping to scale down the bike weight from 25 pound to 23 pound.
this GT i drive full suspension have a record of the frame cracking,

I've never seen GTs out in the world, I've seen the Giant that you have the T-Mobile racing jersey whole shebang thing for, but not these. Course, I live in the States, and well? Anyway, love the detail, I've never seen anyone do bicycles quite so well as you. It looks almost photo realistic. Love the mud splatter on your cyclist, I'm guessing that's you since he's a white lion, and the general attention to detail throughout. Blarglescape, I can't get over how good this is. It's bonkers good.
i do personally ride a GT zaskar hardtail and a GT zr1.0 road bike but never rode a full suspension bike wonder like GT i drive, it was very rare to find GT bikes at malaysia now, or shouls i said totally none at all for the new GT bikes, i would really love to try out the new carbon series but then again i can only dream of them, the closes i can ever get is painting them out
i kinda the latest XTR more, but that time when i was painting this art, it was the first dual control that shimano came out, it kinda function like road bike shifter, i note really sure how well they dual shifter perform due to how expensive it was especially the 07 XTR, i'm currently using XTR rapid fire plus for own GT zaskar race. ya i like reba, my first choice for rock shox after my manitou mars retired. but sadly i end up getting recon instead because reba was all sold out, but recon does function very much the same like reba overally
ya, kinda find that XTR nowadays are overly priced especially the 09 models, i'm still planning whether to build a new wheel set using the shimano XTR hubs with mavic 517, it's gonna be a super light wheels that i would not regret when it comes to performance and weight but it was very painful for my wallet on the other hand. still considering
Oh I forgot to tell you that I come from Thailand . I ride a downhill bike (haro x-6, boxxer team, chris king heavy duty hub, mavic 729,)http://www.thaimtb.com/forum/viewto.....&start=100
P.S. sorry for me English

well, today i finally got the custom build wheel, i left it in the shop for assembly. so i'm going as plan a XTR hub(03 model) with mavic 517(last pair, lucky enough to get it), i'm currently doing some parts replacement for my GT zaskar which have been already 6 years now, some parts are worning out
as for my zaskar race bike(still wondering if it is easton alloy, no prove of easton label around the bike)

-shimano XTR brake lever, rapid fire shifter and rear derailleur and now XTR hub, XT front mech
-avid ti v brake, use to be using avid speed dail lever, later upgrade to XT then XTR
-old wheel set, novatec hubs with mavic 517, XTR disc hub with 517 coming soon
-carbon seat pose mated with flite ti gel
-kore alite stem, easton ec70 bar, scott pro cut barend, onza(spare barend)
-FSA orbital DL headset
-rock shox recon, use to be using manitou mars but broke down recently
-kenda karma 2.0 tire, currently having fun with panaracer urban max road tire
-truvativ GXP crank with crank brother eggbeater pedal
-sram 7.0 cog set
-cateye mity 2 computer, been using it for more than 10 year

it's a dream bike but it is not perfect, i hae heard and read numerious review and reports that despite the light weight frame it have very weak welding and the frame cracks as an outcome. the later GT i drive models are different and it is now made out of carbon fiber. so i'm dreaming for the carbon model now
