Name: Marduk
Gender: Male
Species: Demonic Amphicyonid
Height: 6’0”
Meet Marduk, my Amphicyonid [prehistoric bear dog] who used to roam North America just 13.6 million years ago. Marduk is demonic, represented by 3 noticeable distinctions:
-Forked tail
-Forked ears
-Red Coat
Historically amphicyonid were lone apex animals who would’ve thrived had they formed packs. I imagine that when they’d find a mate and raise a pup, each others eyes would capture the solitude and complacency hidden inside. He was initially drawn by me in 4th grade as a “hound of hell who lived in a volcano”, he has a whole new representation in my life now; one of primal, animalistic instinct and introversion/protection.
I was going for a pseudo-holographic background in this, maybe I'll make it shine as a .gif sometime soon. I'd like to make more refs as I really enjoy drawing expressions >3<
