
This is my latest radio. Was very excited when i found it. It seems to be a AM & Short wave kit with magic tuning eye made either late 30's or early 40's.
Its dial has TEXAS stamped on lower middle, and penciled in numbers for the frequencies.
The two lights on the right corner are strange never seen this before.
It was covered in dirt, and dust. Spent most of the day cleaning, and polishing it.
Also replaced the dial cover that had rotted away.
Still need to replace, and test some components before powering it on.

Wow thats quite the mystery radio!
my guess it is from a correspondence school or something where part of the course was to build a radio. i saw the back and see that the tube sockets are held in with screws instead of rivets.
either that or some hobbyist did an amazing job building it themselves!
